Secretary-General Kumiko Suzuki and Programme Officer Tomoko Oizumi visited Vietnam and Cambodia from 21 to 28 January 2024 to exchange information with persons in charge of NEF scholarship. Exchanges of opinions were held with representatives from the Central Institute for Natural Resources and Environmental Studies, Vietnam National University (VNU-CRES) in Hanoi, the Royal University of Agriculture (RUA) in Phnom Penh, and other institutions.

Tagane Team conducted a survey in Vietnam (2024.01.25)
Following a survey in Lao PDR from August to September 2023, a team led by Associate Prof. Shuichiro Tagane of Kagoshima University had conducted a survey in Vietnam in late December 2023. Announcement of evaluation results for Research Grant Programme 2023 (2024.01.16)
Among 93 applications submitted by October 2023, 59 of them, which fulfilled the criteria and followed the instructions, were reviewed. After careful examination, 14 applications were awarded. The list of granted research projects is posted on Recently Awarded & Deliverables.
