We had a visit from Assistant Director Ms. Kaoru Sakai, Nature Conservation Bureau, Ministry of the Environment, Japan on November 21st and shared information relating to the Nagao Wetland Fund (NWF). For the details on NWF, please check Other Grant Opportunity page.

Among the new projects starting in 2023, a group led by Prof. Masaharu Motokawa of Kyoto University had a field survey in Vietnam. The first report of the field survey appears in the Main Activities of Species diversity of terrestrial vertebrates in the mountains of Indochina in Our Projects.

Three research papers submitted from Dr Hoang Thi Binh (CGF Grantee in 2020) are added in the list on Recently Awarded & Deliverables. Dr Nguyen Van Ngoc (CGF Grantee in 2020) is a co-author on these papers.
Ms. Faiznur Ain Binti Ahmad Bakri (CGF Grantee in 2018) has obtained a doctoral degree (Doctor of Philosophy in Science) from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) on September 13th, 2023.
